I'm a legitimate oatmeal cookie monster... I just counted, and as of January 2018, I've shared 47 oatmeal cookie recipes along with you. Eep! Have you ever tried any of these yet? (? You'll locate all my oatmeal cookie recipes directly there!) They're some of the most popular recipes in my website because they taste very sweet and cozy, exactly like traditional"indulgent" oatmeal cookie recipes, but they contain no refined flour or sugar!

Immediate oats are smaller and thinner than traditional rolled oats, also you can locate them in canisters right alongside those traditional oats at the grocery shop.
I probably seem like a broken record by now... But because I ? you and need your cookies to turn out perfectly plump and soft, I'm reminding you ... Measure your yogurt and bread correctly, with this technique or a kitchen scale! (? That is the one I own and adore. It only cost $20!) A lot of either side will make your biscuits taste cakey or dry, as opposed to chewy. This is particularly true of the oats--that they behave like little sponges and soak up plenty of moisture out of your cookie dough!

Watch those bananas? And all those brown spots? If it comes to baking bananas, brown = beautiful! I ? extra speckly bananas cause they've a lot bright, bold flavor--and extra natural sweetness! That's the minimum amount of brown that I suggest. More is even better!
The remainder of the cookie dough's sweetness comes from a different pure ingredient... Pure maple syrup (such as this!) . You would like the type that comes straight from pine trees, which is usually offered in thin glass jars or squat, round plastic jugs. Forget the pancake syrup and sugar!

Healthy Banana Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Yields: 15 cookies
These oatmeal biscuits are soft, chewy, and full of banana flavor! The familiar comfy spices and plump raisins make them even more irresistible. They'll keep for a minumum of one week if kept in an airtight container in the refrigerator--if they last long!
1 cup (100g) instant oats (gluten-free if necessary and measured like that )
3/4 cup (90g) whole wheat or gluten-free* flour (quantified like this)
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tbsp (28g) unsalted butter or olive oil, melted and cooled slightly
1/4 cup (63g) mashed banana
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup (120mL) pure maple syrup
1/4 cup (40g) raisins
In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, pasta, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in the maple syrup. Add the flour mixture, stirring only until incorporated. Fold in the raisins.
Preheat the oven to 325°F, plus a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
With a spoon and spatula, dip the cookie dough into 15 rounded scoops on the sheet, and apply to the desired thickness and width using 30 Vegan Cookie Recipes Without Margarine or Egg Replacers a spatula. Bake in 325°F for about 10-12 minutes.
Notes: It's extremely important to measure both the wheat and oats correctly utilizing this method or even a kitchen scale. (? That is the one I have and love!) Too much of either could dry out of the biscuits and leave them cakey instead of chewy.
Immediate oats are also referred to as quick-cooking or moment oats. They arrive in huge canisters, exactly like conservative oats. They are not the ones at the tiny flavored loaf of bread. To create your own, add the same number of classic oats to a food processor, and pulse 10-12 days or until the oats will be about 1/4 into ? of the original size.
